Associative museum opened on July 1st, 1992, the Musée Somme 1916 has welcomed more than a million visitors since its opening! 10,000 people the 1st year, we count in 2018 75,000 visitors of all ages and all nationalities! Our best year was in 2014 with 90,000 visitors. . Our goal is to transmit the duty of memory and to preserve the objects through reconstituted scenes in order to make understand to the younger generations what our ancestors endured during this terrible conflict to preserve this fragile peace.

Our team of tour guides offers a full range of tours for individual tourists or school groups: from the simple visit to a full day discovery booking by the groups, we use our 30 years of experience in the service of tourists.
